Christel House India has now reached a critical stage in its operations in India with the first batch of 66 students passing out from II PUC (XII Grade equivalent). This is a critical stage in assuring the realization of our mission to end the cycle of poverty. Christel House is prepared with a comprehensive program to monitor the progress of our children in their academic and professional careers and ensure their integration into a world beyond Christel House.
Our diligent curriculum in High School prepares our students for the two key Board Exams they need to undertake - the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) at the X Grade and the Pre- University Certificate (PUC) of the Karnataka State Education Board. We also help students make important career choices at this critical stage in their lives. Professionals from varied fields, including doctors, engineers, pilots and software designers, visit the school to talk about their careers and what it takes to be successful in a particular career. Career counseling by qualified professionals helps students identify their strengths and interests and guides them in their choice of a career.
Continuing Education and Job Placement
For those children that show exceptional academic promise, we will help them secure scholarships and find ways to support their career objectives.
