All the General, Administrative and Fundraising expenses are borne by our founder Christel DeHaan in perpetuity. This ensures that 100% of a Donor's contribution is utilized towards education of the children in Christel House India. Christel House India offers 100% transparency and accountability to its Donors and welcomes all the existing and prospective donors to verify any financial transactions, without prior notice.
Christel House India is a registered Not for Profit Organization, under Section 25 of Companies Act, 1956 and a Charity under Section 12 A of Income Tax Act 1961. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed under section 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961.
One hundred percent of your contributions are applied to our programs and services and are not used for any administrative expenses, professional solicitors or fundraising consultants.

Our belief that all children are equal is what motivates us to run Christel House - a school where the underserved children, get quality education and care that is comparable to any of the private schools in the country today .The uniqueness of Christel House is for our kids who show promise, we will help the child secure scholarship, and find ways to support their career objectives.
To aid us in our task we have highly qualified and committed staff. The children are exposed to the latest in teaching learning technologies and methodologies as a part of their academic work. They also have access to a comprehensive healthcare program. Children get nutritious food during working hours and all the related needs of the children are taken care of by Christel House. In addition to all this we also have a community outreach program to help us to address the needs of the parents and community in which these children live.
This comprehensive program comes at a high cost – Our Founder, Ms. Christel DeHaan bears all administrative expenses in perpetuity, but we need funds to run the school and bear other direct expenses related to the welfare of our children. 100% of all donations go towards meeting these direct expenses. We are run by an independent Board of Directors and believe in and ensure total integrity and transparency in all our work.
We need your active participation to help us run our school and help these children break the cycle of poverty and become contributing members of their societies.
You can help in two ways. You can give a contribution, as a donor, to the various facets of running the school. You can also give us your time and expertise and become a Volunteer.
